We were back at Wasing Park again recently to install this large gathered fairy light canopy in the Castle Barn. It’s a great wedding venue and the lights really help to make it feel special.

Show all postsFestoon lights are a great way to light outdoor areas at your wedding. They can be hung overhead or strung informally between trees and buildings for a fabulous, rustic effect. Festoons give a lovely warm light, and the multiple bulbs spread light evenly to eliminate shadows.

They’re absolutely gorgeous and would look amazing on their own or as the central feature of a fairy light or festoon canopy.

This beautiful photo was taken at a recent wedding where we supplied the DJ along with synchronised, colour-changing uplighting, a mirror ball suspended from the wooden beam above the dance floor, and a set of moving heads sweeping patterns and colours around the room.

We combined a huge fairy light canopy in the main barn with gold uplighting and a pair of crystal chandeliers in the smaller barn. Whatever the weather, using all gold lighting gave the barn a fantastic warm glow. Magic!

The Stables at Tewin Bury Farm is a gorgeous, intimate venue for smaller weddings. Lanterns and fairy lights took the cosy and intimate feel to a new level and complemented the bunting, lace sashes, tea cups and birdcages for this vintage barn wedding beautifully.
